The measurement system integrates PRÜFTECHNIK's proprietary components, including a Bluetooth® module, with the tab@lign application to establish a wireless laser shaft alignment solution compatible with tablets and smartphones. Designed primarily for standard shaft alignment tasks, the app facilitates quick and efficient alignment assessments for machinery such as motor-pump assemblies.

Powered by PRÜFTECHNIK's patented single-laser technology, the system emphasizes reliability and precision, consistently delivering accurate and repeatable measurement outcomes.

Key features of the system include:

• Three-Step Alignment Process: Users input dimensions, rotate shafts, and view measurement results with ease.
• Bluetooth® Connectivity: High-accuracy measurement data is transmitted wirelessly from the PRÜFTECHNIK measurement modules to the Apple device using Bluetooth® technology.
• Active Clock Measurement: During shaft rotation, measurements are automatically captured at three sensor positions. The process requires only a rotation of approximately 70°, with an electronic inclinometer eliminating user errors for precise alignment.
• Results and Live Monitoring: Horizontal and vertical coupling and foot results are automatically calculated and displayed. Visual graphics illustrate machine position, while arrows indicate necessary foot corrections. The Live Move feature provides real-time updates on horizontal adjustments during the process.
• Soft Foot Adjustment: The app allows measurement, correction, and saving of soft foot conditions.
• Reporting Capabilities: Results can be exported immediately via email as clear, single-page graphical reports to streamline and expedite the alignment workflow.

The app also includes a Demo mode that simulates measurement scenarios leveraging the device’s positioning sensors for training purposes.

PRÜFTECHNIK participates in Apple's "Made For iPhone" (MFi) program; consequently, the measurement components, including the Bluetooth® module, hold official certification from Apple Inc.
